ACE have recently joined The House of St Barnabas as Corporate Members and Supporters.
The House of St Barnabas is a private members club and charity, based in Soho. As well as providing a comfortable and exclusive environment for its members, the charity mostly focuses on helping the homeless back into full time employment, through its academy and mentor programme. Graduates of the scheme are put to work at the club, whilst receiving coaching and training to help them into long-term employment after this period. They are matched with a mentor and introduced to prospective employers.
ACE are sponsoring its clients and team as members of the House of St Barnabas and are proud to be hosting its annual Partner Awards Event at the Club next month.
Chris Parnham, ACE MD, is signed up as a mentor at the House of St Barnabas and is waiting to be assigned his first graduate.
At recent ‘Think Tank’ meetings where Parnham gathers the industry’s most creative minds in order to focus on solving real world problems, the team identified homelessness as their preferred cause. Think Tank members are also being invited to join the Club as part of the ACE Corporate membership.
Chris said, “We are all so excited about the Club, as it ticks so many boxes for us. We have been looking for the right charity to get involved with this year, and we feel that this one has the right cause, the right tools, and the right amount of creativity and uniqueness to suit us perfectly. We’ve also been looking for a place where we can get our clients and partners together, and the facilities and location are just perfect. I can’t wait to get started as a mentor, as this allows me to contribute personally, in a very real way, to getting someone back on the right road. I especially love the Club’s mission statement, which is something my whole team are engaged with:-
